UPDATED AUGUST 3, 2009
I have to clarify that first thing I said there is just rumors and untrue, so take with a grain of salt. Looking back, I shouldn't have had said it and I regret saying it. I refuse to talk about it and I will not talk about it again.

Power Rangers RPM - Episode 18 - "Belly of the Beast"

Summary:
Dr. K says the new threat will be released by 41 hours to the seven Rangers, Truman, and Hicks. The twins want to blow it up, of course. Summer and Flynn clarify that people are inside so they can't blow it up. Ziggy wants a happy side to it. Truman stands in front of the people next to K and is for saving the people. But K says if they destroy the doomsday bot, Venjix might make another one. Summer says they have to match its power. Venjix by the way has a new SawBot and Tenaya is against it and does an analogy to it as if it was like a girl rejecting them. Venjix sends it off, as they see the heroes are near the factory.

The gang (with the soldiers and Truman) sans K are near the factory and the twins are ready to blast with a detantor, Dillon clarifies not to do anything yet. Scott tells everyone that the Doomsbot must be destroyed no matter what. Dr. K (via radio) brings them all down by bringing up the ethical implications. Flynn makes a little speech about ethics (saving the people vs. destroying the threat in conflict with the safety of Cornith). The bot and Grinders arrive and the soldiers try blasting at them but Scott says they will take care of it. The Rangers morph and fight. Dr. K orders Gem and Gema to detonate one of the charges (which looks like an Engine Cell) on the saw bot and they take out him (he disappears I guess) and some Grinders. The unmorphed Rangers celebrate.

Dr. K says the bot will return and that the security at the factory will be amped up in anticipation of their arrival. The seven quickly take down the Grinder security. Scott puts Summer in charge of the detonator. Gem and Gema run off before Scott tells them what to do, saying they have special instructions from Dr. K. Ziggy and Flynn were sent off to rescue the civilians. While, Red, Blue and Black enter and fight Grinders and the SawBot. Yellow tells Red not to plant the chargers. Red runs into a room while the others fight. Gem and Gema enter the room that Black and Yellow entered in the last episode and they put a flash drive into the computer. Tenaya tells Venjix that they have found a foreign DNA trace into the doomsday device. Meanwhile, Red plants the charges.

Dillon is de-morphed and Yellow saves him with an energy blast and she de-morphs and saves him. She gives him the detonating controller, telling him he is in charge. Summer fights the Saw Bot as the doomsday jet is set to launch. After the commercial break, Red tells Yelllow that the charges are in place. She tells Dillon there is no time. K tells Black to wait and listen to her. She tells him to trust her. Flynn and Ziggy has gotten all the workers out. They are given the all-clear. The doombot has left the building, Dillon is told to detonate, he sets it and he and Summer run out of there. It goes BOOM (well, it isn't a big boom). Dillon looks sadly at the building. Summer thinks she escaped. We see a girl enter the truck. Flynn says there is no one else. Scott tells Gem and Gema to intercept Dillon as he runs to the building but they are too busy fighting the bot.

We finally see GOLD and SILVER MORPH! It is like the other sequences but they fly. They destroy the monster. Venjix is in a ship on the way. Tenaya makes the bot grows. Venjix commands the bot in front of it. The Doombot attacks the city dome. K doesn't know if her plan will work. The shields are failing and you can see the bot. K overrides the bot but drones have entered. The ship then shoots the drones. Gem and Gema reunite Flynn, Ziggy, and Scott. She explains she has override the ship and it is a whale, Ziggy says whales don't fly and they have the usual antagonizing exchange. The SawBot knows all their megazord attacks and they can't stop it, according to Dr. K.

After the commercials are finished, Dr. K sends Gold and Silver zords to form the new Mach Megazord, a megazord formation that the bot has never seen before. We see their eyes. K gives them a download of energy and they do a crossbow attack and finish him off. The soldiers celebrate. Scott says Dillon and Summer are still in the burning building. Inside, Summer tries to get Dillon out. Dillon tells her to go. She says she won't leave him. Dillon asks why she is always try to save him. She says he is worth saving. They are blocked and Dillon says there is no way out. When they are about to kiss.. yes, kiss, they are splashed by water---the whale has taken out the flames. They still are about to kiss but Gem and Gema come in. Dillon asks for his sister's cell but they are right next to it, but they only find rocks... or so it seems. Summer finds a key, a key matching Dillon's locket key. He gets happy.

Review:
Great episode. This is the last episode Eddie G. was in charge of. Where some parts lacked, what really helped the episode was Dillon and Summer almost kissing and what was awesome was them getting soaked with water. This episode really used the footage well and in a unique way. We do see Dillon's sister, a girl who gets a close-up. Eddie really went out in a BANG. I am sure the tone won't change too much in the next few episodes. But maybe it will later on as Judd Lynn took over the show. We fans don't know yet.

Frequently Asked Questions

 UPDATED 3/29/13
Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some questions I always get and I put it on my SuperSentai.com website, the link is not available right now but it will. The majority of the questions have to do with all the websites (Super Sentai Time Capsule, Power Rangers Central, Toku Central, Rider Legacy and this blog Henshin Grid.) Some questions at the end pertain to the shows themselves.

Q. Where do you get your pictures from?
A. For a lot of the recent series, pictures are from the official Japanese sites and our own scans. All of the older series are our scans. There are yearly books of a whole series. They used to come out as soon as the series ended, but beginning with Shinkenger, they are now sold with a DVD for an enormous amount of money. They come out at different times. Gokaiger was the most expensive book.

Q. Who owns SuperSentai.com and RangerCentral.com? And who does what?
A. Lavender Ranger and DekaMaster (Mike). I write most of the descriptions, not all of them. I edit some of the pictures, mostly the ones for the Ranger Central toy section. Mike scans and edits the pictures for all the sites. He is currently in charge of all images, even though I had done edits of Japanese website images in the past. Mike edits the code. I take care of the menus.

Q. Why is there a Database image missing?
A. We don't have one yet. And no, we are not accepting any donations of images right now.

Q. Did this the Super Sentai Time Capsule always have the name it presently has?
A. This site sported the name Super Sentai Resource a few years ago for a small period of time, before that it was Super Sentai Time Capsule and before that, back in 1999, it was originally called the Power Rangers/Super Sentai Fansite.

Q. What relation does this have with RangerCentral?
A. After working with SuperSentai.com, Michael got the rights for RangerCentral from Ray and now is updating it with a new crew. Currently, it is just me and Mike. I write, he fixes the code and adds the pictures.

Q. Why in the SuperSentai.com Database are episodes mentioned?

A. We say which episode items appears in because its harder to track down what episode it first appeared on since not all titles are translated and its hard to see all the sentai episodes.

Q. Isn’t [Basco] spelled [Vasco]?

A. This goes for any character, item or terminology name, like Evorian/Evolian (the Abaranger villains) or Rouki/Loki from Gaoranger (Zenaku from Wild Force). It must be understood that Japanese spell things differently. Sometimes, names we have been to sound more like English, this is called Romanization. Lots of names Japanese give to their characters are puns that are only understood in Japanese. Sometimes the names it is how they say it.

Q. What does Henshin mean?

A. ‘Henshin’ is a Japanese word that roughly means to change or to transform. When Tokusatsu (Re: Tokusatsu) heroes change into their super form, they henshin. Sometimes the word henshin is included in the 'morphing call’. The term for this in the Power Ranger world is Morph. The Super Sentai heroes’ morphers are referred to as henshin devices but it is not the official name like the morphers.

Q. Is there a relation between the Dino Thunder symbol and Dragonzord’s symbol?
A. When Dino Thunder came out, many had speculation over the Dino Thunder symbol and Tommy’s old Green Ranger Dragonzord symbol had a relation. They don’t. The Dino Thunder symbol is from Abaranger, it is meant to be a dinosaur footprint. When Toei created Abaranger, they didn’t have Tommy in mind. The Dragonzord symbol is from Zyuranger and it is also meant to be a footprint. Abaranger has no relation with Zyuranger.

Q. Have Super Sentai always used spandex?
A. Not always. In the beginning from 1975 to 1983, they used cloth and assorted materials. It was in 1984 with Bioman when they started using spandex.

Q. When is the new Sentai for next year usually revealed?
A. It depends. Usually in the winter. From Hurricanger to Magiranger, it started around November but the 2006 series Boukenger was revealed in late December. It starts out as a rumor. Lots of times the name changes. There are prototypes shown first but never anything major until a toy sheet or book scan is shown to confirm it. Sometimes people still don’t believe it. This year--2009, because Kamen Rider Decade is ending early and Kamen Rider W is starting, rumors for the 2010 Super Sentai began in early June. Nowadays we get rumblings in the summer but the name gets copyrighted in September and then we see first images in December.
